What’s her story?
I’ve grown up with acne and eczema, so my whole life was spent meticulously scanning ingredient lists to make sure everything was safe for me to use.

What worked for you? What didn’t?
Historically I’d try products to treat my eczema and they’d be overly conditioning and would break me out. But then I’d try products to treat my acne, and they were so stripping that it would give me an eczema flare-up. Then I started to look for ingredients that maybe weren’t in a lot of traditional drugstore acne products, things like propolis and centella that would help me soothe my skin while also repairing and healing any irritation or eczema.

What do you like about this product?
This product is excellent for removing makeup and any sunscreen off of your skin, while leaving it soft and hydrated, without a sticky film left behind. Because propolis has so many benefits, I find myself needing less products in my routine, I can just use this and then put my moisturizer on and my skin looks great.

Why did you choose honey as a key ingredient?
Honey has such incredible antibacterial benefits that my acne responds really well to. It’s healing, repairing, and hydrating, which is what my temperamental skin needs.

What is the one thing you want people to remember about acne?
My number one acne tip is to try your best not to pick. So much of my acne has historically been self-inflicted, when it probably just would have gone away if I had stuck to efficient products and kept my hands away from my face.
